Helping you invest in empowering your local community

The Christmas Appeal for 2018 is investing in empowerment projects in the UK and continental Europe, and you are invited to submit a proposal.

The focus of this year’s Christmas Appeal is to support Relational Mission churches in the UK and across continental Europe to start or grow empowerment projects that will create sustainable and evangelistic pathways out of poverty in their local community.

We would like to invite your church to submit a project proposal letting us know how an investment of between £2,000 and £20,000 would see people empowered in your local community. From all the proposals we receive, up to three will be selected to form part of the Christmas Appeal, which will go live in November 2018. The window for proposals to be submitted is open till midday on Friday 7th September.

While not all the submissions received will be able to form part of the appeal, we hope that as a family of churches, we will join together to invest in the chosen projects, helping to empower people with choice.

The project value should range from £2,000 to £20,000, with the sustainability of the project after the funding has been spent a key factor. Proposals can be for revenue or capital projects.

All the information you need is available in the following documents.
