The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.

Redeemer Church Colchester exists to lead people to discover fullness of life by helping them find and follow Jesus! We long to be a church known for our sending capacity, not just our seating capacity. We are passionate about serving our town, raising and equipping leaders to send out into every arena of society. We love students and dream of engaging them in the life and mission of God both here and in the nations.

In the middle of 2018 we outgrew our first venue and moved to a fantastic new facility at St John’s Green Primary School. Since then we have gone from strength to strength and are now not far off filing our new venue. The seeds for this growth were sown in 2016, when the whole Relational Mission family gathered at an ENOUGH prayer night and prayed for God’s favour and blessing over them . We are now seeing the fruit. of these prayers.

HOW TO PRAY

The university of Essex has students from over 70% of the world's nations, and we are excited about the opportunity that represents, but we need help to build a strong, resource-based church to meet that opportunity. You can help by praying for:

  • Mature labourers/gifts: We need people who have walked with Jesus, love Jesus, and are willing to pour their lives into others and equip them.

  • Kids Team Leader: We are passionate about reaching out to our community, and we need a children's leader to take our growing work forward in that

  • Evangelistic breakthrough: We are gathering more and more unbelievers and those investigating Jesus - we want to see them get saved!
