Kev & Emma Reilly. Gdansk, Poland

The church plant in Gdańsk, Poland is a growing group of friends and it is a joy and privilege for myself and Emma and our family to call this community home. In the last three and a half years we have been gathering a community of believers that is now called Kościół Grono - the name denotes a circle of friends who enjoy being together. It also carries connotations of grapes in a bunch, so includes imagery of fruitfulness and being part of the vine.

We are a dual language church, operating in English and Polish, and most of our community are native Polish. There is a strong sense of family and friendship among us and it has been great to see this develop over the last year. We meet regularly as friends to worship, learn together from the Bible, give our money, enjoy communion and eat and pray together. We have now outgrown the front room we have been meeting in, and in March 2018 moved to a hotel conference room.

As a community, our vision is to demonstrate Jesus in the fullness of His freedom to one-another and to those around us. There is much religion in Poland, but very little Christ-centered freedom. We feel called to change this.

We're so grateful for God's faithfulness to us as a family, in his provision of jobs, his faithfulness to our four daughters, and his provision and help through many ups and downs, and his grace to keep going with what he has called us to do.

How to pray

  • for Kinga and Natalia who have come to know Christ over this last year - pray that they would be discipled well and grow in their faith.

  • for us as we move into our new facility, that we would be fruitful and would handle the transition well

  • for us as we look to partner with other churches and church planters in post-communist nations
