As Many as The Stars
Imagine that following the call of God meant moving a family of eight across the world from the UK to China.
Over twenty years ago, a social worker in the East of England did just that. Robert and Liz Glover’s huge heart for children, coupled with their faith in the power of God, resulted in a story of incredible transformation in the East Asian country. Through conversations with the Chinese government, Robert fought to show that family-based fostering and adoption was a better alternative to the preferred system of state-sponsored orphanages. Since then, ONE MILLION children have been fostered and adopted through his charity, Care for Children.
Pioneering Inspiration
As a church family, we are devoted to pioneering around the world, raising up new families in Christ wherever God sends us. As Many as The Stars will be an invaluable source of inspiration for us as we are reminded afresh of God’s provision and sovereignty.
In fact, many of you will know the Glovers personally, as they have been a part of our church family for many years, and their true story will be all the more impactful as a result.
