£60,000 + raised to bring water to Lucy and her community - Thank You!

Thank you so much to everyone who got involved in our Pathways from Poverty Christmas Appeal 2019.

We are delighted to let you know that, due to your generous giving, over £60,000 has been raised.

We are so thankful for your amazing generosity and are thrilled that a new bore hole can be created in Meru Kenya, to see the realisation of Lucy’s vision of fresh water flowing from the ground she was standing on. The money given will save her from cycling several kilometres every day just to fetch water, enabling her and her community to easily access fresh water for the first time, empowering them to step into pathways out of poverty.

This project is a partnership with our good friend Edward Buria, who is the founder and senior pastor of Kambakia Christian Centre, as well as providing Apostolic oversight to the churches in that region.  We also want to give God the glory for going ahead of us to confirm the location for the bore hole - thank you Lord!

Here is a message of thanks and update from Mike Betts & Edward.

Thank you for partnering with us, as we continue to work together to see lives transformed, demonstrating God’s heart for the poor, bringing life and renewed hope to people living in great need. We really appreciate it!
