Broken World - Praying for the Police

Produced for the June 2018 ENOUGH corporate prayer event. Marie Reavey explains why we should pray for the police and gives us some ideas on how to connect church and police for the good of our communities.

Being a police officer is a difficult, demanding and challenging job. Officers regularly run toward danger as members of the public run away from it. They seek to bring peace and justice into situations of chaos and disorder, and they need our prayers.

We need Christians at every level of the police force, but it is not an easy place to be a Christian. Watch the video to learn more about the challenges, the vision and the possibilities, then make time to pray.

Pray for:

  • Protection
  • Wisdom
  • God to break in and his Kingdom to come

Thank God for all those who are willing to put their lives at risk serving their communities in this way.
