Reflections from More Together 2025

For some of us More Together 2025 might feel like a lifetime ago! So we’ve followed up with some of the young people from Ipswich who went along to share their memories from the Festival.

Miriam: I really enjoyed More Together for multiple reasons, here are just a few:

Firstly, I loved spending time with my beautiful church family; sharing meals with them; laughing together and looking after little ones on the campsite. I loved having late nights around a fire, roasting marshmallows then getting warm in my tent after a fun filled day, resting up for another incredible day. Going through this journey we have been called on with loving people all around helping me is such a wonderful thing.

Secondly, the groups are great! Want to have a mix of silly games and worshipping God? The kids and youth groups provide just that! I personally didn’t participate in the crazy challenges at the front but others threw themselves into food-related fun (e.g. drinking a blended Tesco meal deal) and other competitions. If that's not your thing, you can help earn your team points through writing the best chant or big group games/quizzes. After some messing about, we worship together then listen to an inspiring preach or testimony from great men and women from across the family of churches.

Thirdly, there is an abundance of activities across the site from inflatables (very fun!) to a beautiful book shop with bibles, merch, Christian books and Christian trinkets ( I spent lots of time in there!) And when you're not messing about with friends you can connect with God at the morning and evening sessions. I learnt lots more about Jesus at More Together and I cant wait to watch others come closer to him next year as they see the truth about who he is.

I would really really recommend More Together Festival for people of all ages if you are looking for a weekend of love and joy, an awesome way to end the summer holidays. It is definitely one of the highlights of my whole year. So I urge you to please consider coming! You wont regret it (unless lack of sleep gets to you)!

Abi: More Together 2025 was an awesome experience! The youth team were brilliant and I felt happier, loved and closer to God with their help. I never stopped smiling.

We had some pretty crazy Newday-worthy games as well, which only very brave people volunteered for! There was a perfect mix of fun and silliness but also deep, meaningful preaches that left me challenged and inspired. There was also so much fun stuff to do when groups weren't on; hanging out with friends and my family who were also there, plus bouncy castles, slides, a prayer space and organised sports!

When we left, I found myself missing the friendly atmosphere that the whole campsite provided, because it felt like a lovely community where you could pop in to visit random families who you distantly knew through your mum/cousin/friend/brother, and sit around in their camping chairs eating random food. There was always something to eat!

I loved my time there and my family have already booked for More Together 2026!
